Sektionen Kvinnor i fysik i Svenska Fysikersamfundet är öppen för alla medlemmar i fysikersamfundet som är intresserade av att stödja och främja kvinnliga fysiker och eftersträvar jämställdhet inom fysikerkåren. Sektionen har till ändamål att skapa förutsättningar för kunskaps- och meningsutbyten mellan kvinnliga fysiker verksamma i Sverige och att identifiera och motarbeta de hinder som existerar för jämställdhet. Vi vill öka synligheten för kvinnliga fysiker i Sverige, både i nutid och historiskt och möjliggöra internationella kontakter och att bidra till ett internationellt nätverk.

The Women in Physics section of the Swedish Physical Society is open to all members of the physics community who are interested in supporting and promoting female physicists and seeks equality for all physicists. The section has the objective to create conditions for the exchange of experiences and ideas between female physicists working in Sweden and to identify and eliminate barriers to equality. We want to increase the visibility of female physicists in Sweden, both in the present and historically and facilitate international contacts to contribute to an international network.
